Q: A group of my friends would like to take class together, is there any chance you could do a group class just for us?
A: Whether you are a group of friends, or a club, or a rescue organization, we may be able to put together a group class just for your group. For more information, please contact Samantha Fogg: e-mail info@workplaydogs.com phone: 678-344-2021.
Q: You've got classes on Monday, Tuesday and Saturday, but those are the three days of the week that I can't come to class. Help!
A: If you can get enough people together, we may be able to set up a class that better suits your schedule, please contact Samantha Fogg, either via e-mail info@workplaydogs.com or by calling 678-344-2021.
Q: My dog flunked basic obedience at another school. I don't think he is smart enough to be trained.
A: Of course your dog is smart enough to be trained! In fact, many of the dogs who "flunk" out at other schools flunk because they are very smart dogs. We love to work with these dogs.
Q: My dog is 10 years old, is that too old to be trained?
A: Your dog is never too old to be trained.
Q: I have a disability, and there are certain things that I cannot do. Can I still train my dog?
A: Yes, you can. Depending on the nature of your disability, we may need to be a bit more creative, but Samantha has worked with a number of people with a wide range of disabilities. Don't hesitate to ask Samantha about how Work+Play Positive Dog Training might work with you. You can contact Samantha either via e-mail info@workplaydogs.com or by calling 678-344-2021.
Q: My pet has a disability, can s/he be trained?
A: Yes, your pet can be trained!
Q:
Why don't you have prices on your website?
A: Prices are subject to change, and rather than risk our website having outdated information, we'd rather you just give us a call or drop us an e-mail. Call us at 678-344-2021 or e-mail us at info@workplaydogs.com
Q: Can I bring my kids to class?
A: YES! We've got classes that are specifically geared toward kids, but if you prefer, kids are welcome to come to our regular classes as well -- provided there is a responsible adult with them and provided that the child does not interfere with the class. We actually encourage the whole family to come to class so that everyone can learn together.
Q: Can you really train cats?
A: YES! Cats are smart, and they are excellent problem solvers. Cats, especially indoor cats, enjoy learning and being trained.
Q: Why can't my cat come to the group classes? My cat is good around dogs.
A: Not all dogs are good around cats, and cats can be a huge distraction for dogs.
Q: My certified canine rehabilitation practitioner recommended that I work with you to help with my pet's physical rehab program. How do I set that up?
A: Call us at 678-344-2021 or send us an e-mail at info@workplaydogs.com and make an appointment for a 1 hour private lesson. Please bring a copy of your animal's home program.
Q: My veterinarian recommended that I get you to help me train my pet. Do I need a private lesson, or can I just join a group?
A: The answer depends on why your veterinarian recommended us. For things like manners, a group class should be great. But if there is a more specific issue you may need a private lesson. If you've looked at our group lesson descriptions and still aren't sure what would be best, just give us a call at
678-344-2021 or e-mail us at info@workplaydogs.com
Q: Do you offer boarding and/or daycare?
A: At this time work+play positive dog training does not offer boarding and/or daycare, nor to we endorse any specific facility. If you'd like information about what to look for in a boarding and/or daycare facility, please contact us at 678-344-2021 or send an e-mail to us at info@workplaydogs.com
