This elite school for special pets is available through a partnership with The Pet Set, we offer +Train to animals who are being boarded at The Pet Set or who are in Daycare at The Pet Set.

Plus train can help if :

You are short on time, but long on love for your pet and need a bit of help getting started.

You are new to training and your pet is new to being trained and the two of you are having some communication problems.

You have a very specific behavior or trick you'd like your dog to learn.

You are leaving town, or going to work, and want to return to a better behaved pet who has had a fun, exciting time while you were away.

Requirements:

Initial Evaluation - all animals who are new to Work+Play Positive Dog Training LLC (i.e. animals who have not been in either group or private lessons) need to have a 90 minute initial evaluation, with owner present. There is an additional charge for this evaluation.

Goals Discussion - trainer and owner must agree to the goals of the training prior to each visit (or series of visits in the case of Daycare+Train students). There is no additional charge, and this may be done either in person or over the phone.

Intake forms - these must be filled out, and signed, prior to dropping off the pet. If Pet Taxi is going to be dropping your pet off at The Pet Set for you, please fax the forms in advance.

Discharge Appointment - every +Train student, and their owner, must have a one hour discharge appointment where the trainer teaches the owner about what the animal has learned, and how to work with the dog. No matter how much we teach your animal, if you don't learn how to work with your animal, your pet won't behave for you.

NOTE:

This is an add on service, and all costs associated with +Train are in addition to The Pet Set's regular fees.

All training sessions that take place in your absence are recorded on video, and you will receive a DVD with unedited footage so you will be able to go back and see exactly how we taught your pet. There is no additional charge for the DVD.
